Loyalty has always been one of the largest stones in the foundation of Earl Studios. It comes from my family upbringing and was later reinforced by the lessons I learned during my military service. In the world of marketing and business, things can be much more cutthroat and selfish, but I’ve always tried to maintain that core belief, be loyal, in business and life. That sense of loyalty has also shaped my client list, where I often work with the same clients year after year, I treat them as if I was an employee, and I truly believe that their success is my success.

Tuscan Kitchen Founder and Chief Food Taster Joe Faro
When I had the first opportunity to work with Joe Faro and Tuscan Kitchen during their first year in 2010 I found a company and client that believed as much in loyalty as I did. This was at the beginning of company as they were starting out and working to communicate the brand, and owner Joe Faro’s passion for both Italian food and the community in which Tuscan Kitchen lived.
It was an exciting time back then, getting the opportunity to be at the start of something full of possibilities, working with a new brand to help craft the image and visual identity through photos and videos. It was also a mammoth and daunting responsibility, and like any other creative I always assumed I would be replaced by someone bigger as the company grew. When you are a small one person studio, you tend to deal with a certain level of anxiety and doubt. Yet as the Tuscan Kitchen grew, they continued to bring me back, time after time. Even after the appearance on the food network tv show and countless celebrity appearances, I kept getting the call to come their shoot photos and videos.

One day at a shoot I thanked Joe for the opportunity to keep working with them, and what he told me that day has stuck with me. “You do good work, you work fast, and you understand the brand.” he said. That is the foundation of my company and what I do, I work quickly/efficiently, I do good work, and I emotionally invest myself in my clients so that I can have a passionate understanding for their brand.

Since that day I’ve shot thousands of photos and hundreds of videos for Tuscan Kitchen, I’ve seen the opening of 3 new restaurants and for all of it I’ve been lucky enough to be there. This giant multi million dollar company trusts me, a company of one, with all its photography and videography, and that fact is never lost on me every time I walk through the doors. Despite its size and success, I continue to treat Tuscan Kitchen as if they were still that small restaurant just starting out in Salem NH. I still hustle, work quickly, and produce amazing photos and videos as one person in a fraction of time it would take a larger production company with several people taking all day to accomplish. For me, the clients success is my success, regardless of their size or budget, but when you also find a client that is as loyal to you as you are to them, that’s rare indeed.
